Dramatic footage shows the moment a tourist is knocked over by a terrifying wave while posing for a photo on an island off Bali.
The video, which has gone viral on Chinese social media, shows the woman posing for a photo with her arms outstretched on a cliff near the water on the Indonesian island of Nusa Lembongan.
Without seeing it coming, she is then pummelled by a massive wave that then knocks her off her feet.
Screams can be heard from onlookers witnessing the shocking sight.
"WARNING WARNING! Please like and share this video so more people understand how dangerous it is to stand this close!" the original caption on the video read, according the Daily Mail.
"Please stop and be careful! You still have an amazing view 20 metres from the edge."
Thankfully, the woman managed to survive the ordeal with only a few cuts and bruises, Shanghaiist reported.
Subsequent footage shows the drenched woman having her minor injuries tended to in the aftermath.
Many people who commented on the video noted the woman was lucky to survive such a dangerous experience.
Nusa Lembongan is a small island off the southeast coast of Bali.
The video is understood to have been filmed at Devil's Tears, a rocky cove that's a hotspot for tourists seeking holiday photos as well as daring cliff jumpers.
It's famous for the enormous waves that hit the cliffs, creating sensational ocean spray.
The name of the location is said to come from the mist that lingers after the wave hits, known as the "devil's tears".
