Experience a multicultural artistic and religious event in Panmure this Saturday when the suburb's Fijian, Samoan, Tongan, African and Chinese communities put their art, craft and cuisine on display and up for sale.

Dubbed "Auckland's Giant Garage Sale", the free event is on from 9am to 2pm in Queens Rd, which will be partly closed for the event.

Entertainment includes face-painting for the children, music and demonstrations ranging from African hair braiding to basket weaving, tapa cloth and ethnic food preparation.
