Best water activity? Ocean rafting, which is real value for money.

Best place to swim? Cedar Creek Falls. It's a 20-minute drive from Airlie Beach.

Best spot for an icecream? New Zealand Natural icecream at Airlie Beach.

Best picnic spot? Shingley Beach at Abell Point Marina.

Best local produce? Whitsunday Gold Coffee.

Where should we eat? Little Vegas or Cafe One 3.
