For the third year in a row, Rabobank and The Country have teamed up for the Good Deeds Initiative.

The competition is open to anyone who has a community project that would benefit from $3000 of funding, along with a day's labour courtesy of the teams at Rabobank and The Country.

Rabobank's chief executive Todd Charteris told The Country's Jamie Mackay the bank was "really pleased to be involved" in the initiative and he was excited to see this year's entries.

Check out last year's winner here.

Executive Producer Rowena Duncum took part in last year's working bee and this year Sam "Lashes" Casey will be representing The Country on the winning project.

Although Mackay hinted that if there was any native tree planting he may take part himself!
