Word secrets online by accident:

It's not a new discovery that Microsoft's Word hides certain data within a file, but people either forget this or are unaware of it when posting documents on a site.

American researcher Simon Byers checked out 100,000 Word documents that had been posted online and was shocked to find sensitive or confidential information hidden but accessible within them. Read his report - not surprisingly online in a PDA document rather than Word format.

Paul McCartney was replaced with a lookalike in 1966. The net is full of such conspiracy theories but since this claim was put online, complete with plastic surgery graphics, the theory has started to gain ground.

It's been a critical week for the Hutton inquiry into the death of government weapons expert Dr David Kelly. Although the spotlight has been on the British Prime Minister and Defence Secretary, about 9000 documents have been published online including private emails and Government memos.
