Star wars kid
A warning to all those who've played air guitar in front of the mirror. Never put it on video. Ghyslain, a 15-year-old living in Quebec, filmed himself (above) fighting a mock battle with a broomstick lightsabre. Some kids at school discovered the video and uploaded it. Within a short space of time, the video was all over the web - and had spawned new versions with added Star Wars graphics. You can watch the excruciating two-minute video at Waxy.org. Some felt sorry for the unintentional celebrity and in seven days donated US$4000 ($6,900) to his sympathy fund.

Microsoft, Network Associates and Trend Micro have just launched a Virus information alliance site to cover the latest security issues that affect Microsoft products. Watch out for a new email virus that claims falsely to come from support@Microsoft.com (more details at McAfee).
