Designed to maximise battery performance, the intelligent battery management feature continuously monitors the battery and will notify the user when it needs replacing. The battery is long-lasting and replaceable, allowing the user to save on cost while extending the life of the UPS. Other features include visual and audible alarms for overload, low battery warning and an indicator showing battery usage during an electrical outage.
"Home and small office businesses are as susceptible to power problems as their larger counterparts in office blocks," says Leanne Cunnold, Managing Director for APC Australia and New Zealand.
"They rely on the same power supply, which means that they are equally at risk of damage to equipment or data. APC now offers small businesses the same technology that is common in large companies with the introduction of Back-UPS ES."
The Back-UPS ES 350 is valued at NZ$272.00 (including GST).
