Facebook has topped the list of Apple's most popular free applications this year.

Apple recently released a list of the 13 most popular free applications for iPhones and iPads, with Facebook in the number one spot.

Rounding out the top three spots were the Pandora Radio application and the free version of Words With Friends.

'Angry Birds' was far and away iPhone and iPad users most popular game, nabbing three spots in the Top 13 and coming in at number one in the paid category.

Micro-blogging site Twitter also earned a spot on the list, coming in at number ten, and even the Weather Channel got a look-in at number thirteen.
