Microsoft developing te reo Maori interface

Microsoft is developing te reo Maori versions of Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Office System 2003.

A Language Interface Pack (LIP) will be developed, providing Maori words to cover 80 per cent of XP and Office 2003.

Once the project is completed the LIP will be downloadable free of charge.

Microsoft is working with Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Maori, who will act as the moderator of the community glossary.
