Herald FYI is a personalised e-mail alerting service which enables users to customise their classifieds search by specifying exactly the kinds of information they are looking for. Herald FYI then delivers search results that match their selections, directly into their e-mail inbox.
For example, a house buyer looking for a brick & tile 3 bedroom house in Parnell, Auckland with a budget of between $250,000 - $300,000 can specify exactly those requirements when they set up their Herald FYI service.

Mr Lim says this innovation from W&HI addresses a challenge the company has faced for some time. "We wanted to optimise the complete www.netclassifieds.co.nz database of over 20,000 listings in a way that would add value, convenience and efficiency to advertisers and buyers.

Mr Lim says Herald FYI searches and reports all relevant databases on a daily basis. "This daily reporting is vital when we have, for example, up to 2500 new listings in the daily updates of netclassifieds."
