Following in his Dad's footsteps, Blair has travelled all around the North Island to race his mini stock. In the future Blair hopes to race super stocks.
"Mum isn't too happy with the idea though. Super stocks are full contact so there is a lot more risk involved."
Blair says super stocks can be significantly more expensive than mini stocks.
He recommends other young people to get involved with speedway.
"Racing mini stocks has taught me great driving skills. You learn how to drive defensively much better than in a classroom."
He says he has meet lots of new people through racing.
"Travelling for competitions means you make friends all over the country."
