Woman dies after two-vehicle crash in Waitara, Taranaki

A female driver has died after two vehicles collided in Taranaki this morning.

Police said the crash occurred on Devon Rd, Brixton, near Waitara around 6am.

The woman died at the scene.

Diversions were in place northbound on Raleigh St and southbound on Mamaku Rd.

The Serious Crash Unit would be investigating and the road would be closed.
