A photobooth, donated by local store The Sweet Life, will also be available between rounds to take photos with Urzila.
Roger says this year's quiz is bigger and better than ever, with questions on a range of topics. "While a lot of it is general knowledge, when picking your team mates it would pay to bring someone along with some rural knowledge."
Entrants can sign up in teams of eight or individuals can be placed into teams on the night.
Jayden Harvey, club chairman, says there are heaps of prizes up for grabs thanks to the support from local businesses.
"We have been flooded with donations, it's awesome to see the community get behind the club."
While the comedy quiz night is a fundraiser the Central Taranaki Young Farmers club a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Stratford Daffodil Day committee and the Rotokare Scenic Reserve Trust.
Jayden says the club would like to work closer with the reserve and following the donation will be volunteering to help with some upcoming projects. He adds "as it is being held on Daffodil Day we thought it would be fitting to make a donation to the committee."
Jayden and Roger agree the whole club are looking forward to a fantastic evening and encourage everyone in the community to buy tickets and form a quiz team.
The Central Taranaki Young Farmers comedy quiz night is on Friday, August 28 from 7pm at the Stadium Restaurant and Bar, who will have full bar and restaurant facilities available on the night. Tickets can be purchased from Jayden, phone (06) 761 8462 or 027 956 5871. Tickets are $40 per person or $240 for a table of 8.
