Mel Cook and Danny Bates were sworn in as new Justices of the Peace last Wednesday during a ceremony at New Plymouth court. Mel and Danny are now two of the over 7000 Justices of the Peace (JPs) around the country who provide an important free service to their communities by witnessing signatures, certifying copies of documents and administering statutory declarations and affidavits. A JP can be found at the weekly service desk at Stratford library every Thursday morning, between 10am and 12:30pm. With no appointment needed. A private area is available if needed.
