The renovations are finished!

AS WELL as celebrating the store's 75th anniversary Standard Timber ITM Stratford undertook major renovations to the store this year.
Now that the reno's are completed Mike and the team are ready to celebrate and have heaps of in-store specials.
Plenty of fresh paint, new carpet, new shelves, key cutting, a new paint area and so much more greet customers as they enter ITM including an awesome new counter.
"We decided the store needed a bit of a makeover and thought tying it in with our 75th anniversary was a great plan. Now that we've finished we encourage all of our loyal and new clients to come and check it out," said Mike Henry, owner of ITM Stratford.
Mike said he was pleased with the end results and the renovations have left the store looking good.
A new feature to ITM is a key cutting service. The store has become agents for TK Locksmithing. Tony has many years of experience working for Designer Security. ITM stock a wide range of key rings and novelty key tags.
The improved paint area now has a new customer service area designed for free consultations with clients about their paint and decorating needs.
Paint brands include Wattyl, Taubmans and Forest Wood Stains.
The business was started in 1933, by Mike's grandfather Victor Henry, with a timber yard, selling native timber.
Over the years the store has expanded and moved location twice.
ITM now has a wide range of timber and building supplies. Farm buildings such as hay and implement sheds, stables, woolsheds and covered yards are also a big part of the business.
The store also has a wide range of paint and paint accessories and hardware.
They will also build garden furniture, dog kennels, bird aviaries, barbecue tables etc∈ their workshop.

Mike said ITM Stratford is the only locally owned timber and hardware store in town and is proud of the family-friendly store.
ITM is located on the corner of Broadway North and Seyton Street and is open Monday to Saturday.
