While most people have been enjoying the Scarecrow trail organised by Stratford District Council to coincide with the garden festivals in the region, it seems some have taken such a liking to one scarecrow - and have taken her home.
Swinging Sally, who was happily hanging out in a tree
at Victoria park (Scarecrow number 40 on the Scarecrow Trail map), went missing over the weekend.
The community development team at Stratford District Council have reported the theft to the police, in the hope that cameras in the area will help identify those responsible for her disappearance, and perhaps even help find Sally.
If you are doing the scarecrow trail, Swinging Sally's matching flower is petunia.
