The spokesperson says an investigator found the fire started because a heater was too close to combustibles.
"This is a reminder to make sure heaters are kept at least a metre away from flammable items."
Robert is impressed with the response from the emergency services.
"They were on the scene quick smart and had it all under control."
The shed has been completely destroyed, as well as the items inside.
"I'm a collector, I had a lot of things in that shed including tools, motorcycles, and my daughter Skylar's scooter."
Skylar, 8, says she woke to a loud bang.
"It was very loud. My dad's and my scooters are gone. I'm just happy we're all okay."
Robert is pleased no one was injured in the fire.
"At the end of the day all of the things destroyed in the fire were material, they can be replaced but a person can't. I'm just happy no one was injured and impressed with how well emergency services handled the situation."
