The Don Oakes motors Senior B team got their 5th straight win on Saturday against the Spotty Dogs (Spotswood) at Stratford.
Our defense was the strongest we have seen this season and that showed on the score board as we kept the dogs tryless, our ruck however, was upset at times with constant infringing and a shortage of support.
Our set pieces were sound, with our dominating scrum being the highlight as we got our first push over try for the season. We combined better than we have in the last couple of weeks, with the backs enjoying some space to run and the forwards working hard up front. Tim Fleming had a strong game and was player of the day.
Other players to stand out were, Daniel and Fraser McDonald, Daniel Stark, David Avery, Robin Kivell and Trent Rowlands.
