The annual concert, held in the clubrooms on Railway Street, Eltham, will raise money for Hospice Taranaki. A representative from Hospice Taranaki will attend to talk about the work the organisation does in the community.
This year has been a busy year for the Eltham Savage Club with a visit from the Horowhenua Club in April, who entertained with a variety of items. The club then travelled to Palmerston North in July to present for the Manawatu Club and returned via Whanganui to present for their members also.
In August the club hosted the Western Group Combined Concert which included items from Waitara, Stratford, Hawera and Whanganui clubs.
The public concert marks the club's season drawing to a close and as this is the club's 70th jubilee they will be celebrating their with a special Korero on closing night in October.
