After 13 years at the helm of the Stratford Camera Club, Sharon Mackie-Langton has stepped down from the role of president.
Sharon says she has loved being president of the club, but it is now time to hand over the reins to someone else. "I have enjoyed all aspects of the club, and will continue to enjoy coming along to meetings. Seeing other members work is the best part of being a member of the club, and I have made many friends through it." Sharon says she and her husband Ross met two of their closest friends through the camera club. Sue Morton is the new president of the club, which meets at the Percy Thomson Gallery on the fourth Tuesday of every month. Members are now enjoying a break, with the first meeting of the new year taking place in March.
