Firearms and ammunition were seized from a Stratford property last Thursday during a police raid.
Detective Senior Sergeant Gerard Bouterey said police were looking for firearms and had suspected the manufacture of methamphetamine at the Rosalind St property.
He said a 47-year-old man had been charged with unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition, and breaching a protection order. The man had a bail hearing on Monday, July 19.
"We're pleased we've taken some firearms off the street."
Forensic testing will determine if further charges are laid.
"We know how dangerous methamphetamine can be, and how much harm it causes the community, family, and users. Our focus is to hold to account those who are manufacturing and supplying the community with illicit drugs."
