Christine Taylor of the Taranaki Rhododendron Group presents a cheque for $1320 to Michael Joyce, chair of the fundraising committee for the "We Heart Taranaki" appeal which is raising money to purchase a new angiography machine and suite in Taranaki.
"The generosity of our community is outstanding," says Michael, who thanked the group for their hard work in raising the funds. Christine says the money was raised at their plant auction held in October.
"We are happy to help. All our members are getting to the age where we might need the suite ourselves," she says.
