Hi, I'm Hannah Shepherd from the Central Taranaki Safe Community Trust (CTSCT).

Based in the Stratford Police Station, our trust has been working hard to make sure the Central Taranaki is a safe place to live work and play.

The trust is going to keep you updated on all we are doing, with a regular column in the Stratford Press.

Di Gleeson, our community safety officer, looks after our Central Taranaki Neighbourhood Support and Community Patrol.

As part of my role as the community project officer, I get the fun job of being on the ground making sure our safety initiatives come to life and make the impact our community needs.

Di and I have been gearing up for the busy year ahead as CTSCT look to focus on all things safety.

Our main focus for 2019 will be crime prevention, child safety, road safety, mental health and wellbeing, home safety and the big community building projects including Pink Shirt Day.

Di has been kept busy working hard on Neighbours Day, in conjunction with Neighbourhood Support New Zealand. Neighbours Day is our annual multiple-street BBQ party!
