While it might be cold and wet outside as I write this, the shops in town manage to look inviting and to tempt us in out of the cold. Thanks to some great participation in the Business Association's window display challenge, we have lots of All Black themed windows remindingus of the rugby match this weekend.
In our cosy office we have had a few changes, the most recent of which is Christina heading off to further study this week. We wish her all the best for the future.
Our new reporter Hannah has instantly impressed us all in the office with her enthusiasm, and Ilona says that she is "a pleasure to work with". Thank you to all our readers who have gone out of their way to welcome Hannah and to give her great tips on stories and events in town.
This week we also welcome Ceri, our new office administrator, to the team. Ceri is doing a fabulous job at picking up Christina's workload and we are really happy she has joined us at the Stratford Press.
We have had some great promotions in the Stratford Press recently, and our latest one, the Extreme Makeover, has attracted a lot of entries. Due to this we have decided to extend the deadline for this after a few frantic phonecalls from ladies asking if they had missed the deadline. So of you have been thinking about entering, but never got around to it, you still have time. We will now announce the winner on July 3, meaning entries are open until July 1. This also means that any local businesses who would like to get involved and haven't yet, still can.
