Jocelyn Barrett says she wants to thank the Stratford Press for the help they gave in publishing the 1946 rugby photo.
After we printed the photo, Jocelyn received a call from a reader who said "I am pretty sure that is my brother Gordon Hancock" and as Jocelyn says, who better to know a brothers face than a sibling to that person?
Now Jocelyn is looking for more help. Again she is seeking better copies of the photos in this article that she can borrow for a brief period. Jocelyn is happy to collect and deliver the photos back to their owner if they are within the Taranaki area and will pay for all associated postage costs if they are further afield.
