There was plenty of holiday cheer at the Inglewood Lions Club’s Christmas Parade.
On Saturday, crowds lined Inglewood’s main street for the annual parade, and Inglewood Lions Club president Graham Robinson said it was a great event.

“It’s always a popular parade. It was a fine day, the weather wasgreat and the floats looked fantastic.”
The parade’s theme was “Christmas through the ages”, and Robinson said all entered floats stuck to the theme.
The judges had their work cut out for them, he said, and after some deliberation, the Inglewood Volunteer Fire Brigade’s float was crowned the winner, winning the coveted first-place rosette and $200.

Cam Gillespie said he and the group were happy to win first place.
“We always enjoy being a part of the parade.”
