South Taranaki, get set for some serious pyrotechnic explosive fun when the More FM Fireworks Spectacular takes place on Saturday, October 17 at the Egmont A&P Show Grounds in Hawera.
Gates open at 6.30pm and local band Ghost Chips will be performing until the fireworks start. They will be supported by the Hawera Pipe band who will perform around 7.45pm.
The evening, which always attracts thousands of people, is a real family affair says event organiser Jody Bloor.
"Bouncy castles, face painting, archery tag, merry-go-round, mini ferris wheel, glow sticks and other glowing products will be on offer for the youngsters and the young at heart," says Jody.
"As a result of public feedback we've also added some old school games for the kids including three legged, sack and wheelbarrow races. There will also be a variety of stalls to purchase food from such as pizza, nachos, American hotdogs, barbecue, coffee, donuts and ice cream. Or families can pack a picnic and enjoy a good old fashioned family night out."
