Save The rescue helicopter landed at the back of the fire station in Stratford.
Emergency services responded to a call out in Stratford on Thursday evening.
Fire and ambulance staff attended a call out in Stratford at around 6pm, and the resuce helicopter then landed behind hte fire station at 7.15pm.
A St John spokesperson says the incident was a medical event.
Two ambulances
and a fire truck were at the scene, waiting for the helicopter.
The helicopter took off just before 8pm.
