Domino the kitten loves taking her naps in people's laps

Domino is playful kitten who loves sleeping on people's laps and is looking for her forever home. Domino can be adopted from The Scratching Post, Stratford.

Domino is only three-and-a-half months old, but she has already won plenty of hearts at The Scratching Post where she spends some of her days.

The friendly black and white kitten is up for adoption and Scratching Post trustee Karma Andrews says Domino will be an affectionate addition to any household.

"She would make a wonderful companion to someone who lives alone or has another feline family member who needs company."

Andrews says Domino is very playful, and loves to be the centre of attention.

"She is known for pulling some pretty silly antics in an attempt to get people's attention."

When she's not playing or acting the fool, Domino loves snoozing on laps and will give her human bed plenty of gentle head butts to remind them how much she loves them.

Andrews says while Domino is a friendly kitten, it is believed she experienced some bad treatment in her early days, meaning she likes to take her time to evaluate any new people she meets.

"She's a smart cookie and once you've passed her tests she's happy to share her amazing personality with you."

■ Domino is available for adoption from The Scratching Post now. A $130 adoption fee covers the cost of her having been vet checked, desexed and worm and flea treated. Domino is also litter-box trained.
