CMK Stratford Senior A's hosted Inglewood and were playing in memory of patron and life member Bill Parkinson.
Playing into the wind, Stratford came out hissing and constantly put Inglewood under pressure. They were rewarded with a penalty by Nick Childs and led 3-0.
Stratford continued their early dominance which led to a charge down. Impressive lock Matthew Kissick scooted 40m to score. Child's converted and Stratford led 10-0 after 20 minutes and were playing their best rugby all season.
Unfortunately, silly errors were made and penalties crept in which gave former Stratford player Cody Hall 3 penalty opportunities which he took. Stratford still led 10-9 at the break.
More ill discipline gave Hall further opportunities which he took and a missed Stratford penalty had Inglewood leading 15-10 with 15 minutes left to play.
