Rainbow Childcare Centre lived up to its colourful name last Thursday with the addition of some brightly coloured slime on the front lawn.
As a fundraiser for Plunket Awareness week the children at Rainbow made a gold coin donation so they could throw slime over head teacher Judy Brady, who was moving to a new job in Inglewood.
"Judy has been with Rainbow for six years and we thought this would be a fun way for the children to say goodbye," teacher Tammy Woodward says, "while also raising some funds for a great cause."
Alyssa Bretherton (3) says "Judy got sloppy and wet, it was so funny. I coudn't wait to tell my mum".
Judy was helped to clean up by the children as they also dumped buckets of water and threw sponges at her.
