Are you in the market for a lounge chair for under $20, a waffle iron for $4 or maybe you want to refresh your wardrobe and come out with change from $10? For any or all of those needs, the HospiceShop Stratford is guaranteed to be able to help you out, with its new premises being stocked full of plenty of bargains for everyone.
The store officially opened its doors to the public on Monday this week and the store has been "very busy from the start," says HospiceShops area manager, Judy Spranger. "We have had lots of positive comments about the new premises, and the furniture is going really well already."
The new location on 36a Miranda Street is ideal, says team leader Maureen Rowe. "We are right next to Z so there is plenty of parking, plus they have been keeping us going with lots of coffee being delivered to us as we have been getting the store ready."
Customers who spend $20 or more in the HospiceShop will receive a voucher for a free barista coffee from Z, Maureen says. "So there is a great incentive to come in, have a browse and invest in a bargain or two."
Maureen says the volunteers are loving the new space, "we have a room for sorting though donations, there is a place for everything, and the building is warm and bright. It is a great place to be working in". With the larger shop comes more opportunities for volunteers to join the team of friendly and enthusiastic volunteers and applications are available in store for anyone interested.
