A group of Hāwera High School Year 12 horticulture students assisted at the annual restoration planting day at the Nowell's Lakes Walkways on Wednesday, August 12.
The planting day was organised by the Normanby and Districts Lions Club.
Five-hundred native trees, gifted to the Nowell's Lakes Walkway Trust by theSouth Taranaki District Council and Trees That Count, were planted.
