The team at Koru Kindergarten was surprised with a delivery of freshly baked hot cross buns on Monday morning.

The team was drawn as the winners of last week's competition in the Stratford Press, which asked people to nominate a school or kindergarten to receive a delivery of hot cross buns from Stratford New World.

Lisa Beckett nominated Koru Kindergarten.

"I'd like to nominate the amazing team at Koru Kindergarten. They are so dedicated to providing a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment for our tamariki".

Lisa said she and her husband are able to relax knowing their son loves his time there.

"We relax knowing that he is safe, happy and learning so much through awesome play experiences. "

Thanks to Dan and Rebecca Harris at Stratford New World, we have more delicious hot cross buns to give away. Over the next few weeks, we will be asking you to nominate a person, business, class or neighbour to win one dozen delicious, fresh hot cross buns.

This week, we are asking readers to nominate a local business to win a morning tea shout.

To enter - email with your name, the business you are nominating and tell us why in 100 words or less. Nominations need to be received by Sunday, April 14 at noon, and we will deliver the buns on the following Monday morning.
