It was a case of third time lucky when an Inglewood schoolgirl entered a The Hits Taranaki colouring competition earlier this year.

Sienna Dobson was one of hundreds of children to enter a colouring competition sponsored by The Hits Taranaki at the Taranaki Rescue Helicopter Trust open day in January.

Given a picture of an ambulance to colour in, Sienna decided to add some words to it, but misspelt the word St John.

Undeterred, Sienna neatly crossed out her mistake and had two more goes, with her third attempt at the word correct. She then added "third time lucky" to her writing in what turned out to be a true statement as her entry was drawn as the winner.

Last Monday, Emma Helleur, day announcer on The Hits Taranaki, visited Sienna and the rest of her class at Inglewood Primary to deliver part of the prize - a lunch shout from Dominos pizza.

It wasn't the only excitement of the day, as earlier the class had enjoyed a trip to the Taranaki Rescue Helicopter Trust hangar to see the helicopter up close and find out more about it.
