Self proclaimed "Christmas-o-holics" Nicola Lambkin, Debbie Sheehy and Helen Dickey will be dressing up Helen's home in the Christmas spirit for "Deck the Rooms for Refuge", an event that supports New Plymouth Women's Refuge.
The trio's names may ring a bell to some as in the past they have successfullyrun the "Christmas Homes for Hospice" event in Stratford.
Nicola says, "We are delighted and honoured to have been asked to contribute to this event, and it's very exiting for the old 'team' to be back together again sprinkling Christmas cheer."
Deck the Rooms for Refuge is on November 30 and promises nine fantastic homes professionally dressed for Christmas by local interior designers, floral artists and home owners. At $25 a ticket all proceeds will go to New Plymouth Women's Refuge.
Helen says, "None of us know when we will be faced with a situation where we may need to call upon this wonderful organisation for help - for ourselves or friends."
Many Stratford people have supported the group's past ventures and loved their day out visiting homes decorated for Christmas. "We just all hope that people will come through to New Plymouth for a day out and support a worthwhile cause," says Helen.
Tickets are $25 and will be on sale from the Women's Refuge office, Benny's Books, Simply Blooming, Trade Aid, United Travel Eltham and Stratford i-Site.
