Yachting: Slater sails to victory

New Zealand yachtsman Dan Slater got his Finn world championship campaign in Denmark off to a fine start with a win in the second race.

Slater finished 33rd in the opening race of the week-long championship and said it had been a tough day as he considered his 11th position in an 89-strong field.

Eight races are scheduled over the next four days.
