New Zealand sailors Rohan Lord and Miles Addy are sitting second at the Star World Championships in San Francisco after strong results in the first two days of competition.
Lord and Addy added a second place in the latest race today (New Zealand time) to the third they notched inthe first race of the regatta yesterday.
The New Zealanders are behind only Flavio Marazzi and Martin Kozaczek, on points differential after the Swiss pair won today's second race.
New Zealanders Hamish Pepper and Carl Williams are sixth out of the 66 boats after a race win on the opening day was marred by a 20th today.
Four more races are due to be held, finishing on Friday.
Conditions in San Francisco today were light with about 10 knots of breeze.
