Yachting: Davies on Mean Machine

Emirates Team New Zealand strategist Ray Davies has been named as skipper of Mean Machine, the second official entry for the next round-the-world yacht race in 2008-2009.

The Mean Machine syndicate is headed by Dutchman Peter de Ridder.

The confirmation of their entry follows last week's announcement that Ericsson would be on the start line again after their 2005-2006 campaign.
