Yachting: Club Med slows pace

Grant Dalton's Club Med slowed significantly as the first of the The Race yachting fleet hit the Southern Ocean.

Team Adventure, 200 nautical miles behind Club Med 24 hours earlier, closed the gap to about 150 miles yesterday and was still gaining.

"We have 30 knots but unfortunately we can't use it all," Dalton said.
