Yachting: Club Med heading for NZ

Grant Dalton's Club Med has stretched its lead to almost one thousand nautical miles in The Race.

Club Med has just passed the Kerguelen Islands in the Southern Ocean en-route to Cook Strait, and leads Innovation Explorer by 929 miles.

Meanwhile the third placed boat, Team Adventure, is still in Cape Town and is due to leave later tonight.
