It's been almost 20 years since Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson debuted in WWE at Survivor Series in 1996.
This week, The Rock released a special commentary track on video as he watches his WWE debut with some great insight into the match and a few hilarious jabs about a coupleof mistakes he made.
The third generation superstar had a spectacular entrance to the ring planned, but messed it up with a rookie blooper.
"Right now, I'm feeling myself, I'm so hyped up, I'm so excited and I've got a f***ing Chia Pet on my head as a haircut," says The Rock, as he watches himself enter Madison Square Garden in New York.
"So I jump over the top rope, like I'm a bad son of a b**** ... and I think I'm pointing at what's called the hard cam (camera). And I'm literally pointing to nothing. That's why my back was to you guys.
"I had this whole thing mapped out in my head. I was going to jump over the ropes, I was going to look at the hard cam - because we're always told you look at the hard camera, the main camera and you're speaking to the world - jump over that top rope and I'm like 'I'm here' ... The f***ing hard camera is behind me."
But the match wasn't all bad. After being left in a one-against-two battle following the elimination of Jake "The Snake" Roberts from the match, The Rock stared down Crush and Goldust and experienced a life-changing moment.
"The moment Jake "The Snake" Roberts got beat, you felt an immediate shift in the tone of the crowd," The Rock said. "22,000 people in Madison Square Garden looked at the two bad guys, they looked at the new rookie, and in that moment 22,000 people can either go 'S***, he's going to get his ass kicked', or they go 'S***, he's going to get his ass kicked ... but we like that dude and we want him to kick ass too'.
"And 22,000 people did something in that moment that defined my career and literally changed my life. In one night. It's something you can write, you can't script it ... and that thing that they did was 22,000 people started chanting my name.
The Rock - courtesy of Seven Bucks Digital Studios and his new YouTube page - looks back at the match with fond memories, especially when talking about a very special moment he shared with Brian Adams aka "Crush", who actually passed away back in 2007.
It's a fascinating and hilarious look back at The Rock long before he was called "the most electrifying man in sports entertainment" and the biggest box office movie star in the world.
