The Wellington Phoenix have fallen to a 2-1 loss against the Central Coast Mariners in Gosford.

After a goalless first half, the host got on the board through midfielder Angel Torres with about 30 minutes left on the clock.

The Phoenix equalised through Ben Old heading into the final 10 minutes, but a 91st-minute strike Mikael Doka secured the Mariners all three points.
