Social media users have called for his immediate suspension saying that Magos' actions were shameful.
"Shame on you Giannis Magos (Greece). You're not an athlete. No sportsman," wrote one user on Twitter.
Evolution Of Bodybuilding, a leading bodybuilding news website, has called for Magos to receive the harshest possible penalty.
"There is no place for the actions that followed in the any sport and especially in bodybuilding", their statement read.
"Armando [the judge] is a true gentleman to the sport of bodybuilding and is one of the hardest workers in the organisation.
"The competitor that was involved in the incident should get the harshest penalty that the IFBB can give."
