Watch: UFC fighter Jarred Brooks knocks himself out with botched body-slam

UFC flyweight fighter Jose Torres has won his first ever match inside the octagon after his opponent Jarred Brooks botched a body-slam.

Brooks dominated Torres throughout the first round of the bout and had the debutant on the fence in the second when he attempted to throw his opponent to the ground.

Grabbing Torres around the waist, Brooks lifted his opponent over his shoulder before jumping into the air only to land partially on his head.

Torres was quick to react to the mistake and pounced on Brooks, landing several punches to the face before the referee called the fight.

For those not watching, Shorty Torres was getting tuned up a bit. Second round Jarred Brooks goes for a flashy slam, executed it perfectly minus the fact that he knocked himself out. Shorty realized this and finished him with strikes for the win. #UFCUtica

Brooks won the first round, dropping Torres with a spinning back-fist and controlling the fight throughout.

Torres showed promise in a short fightback in the second before Brooks started to take control again and attempted the slam.

Torres, a former Titan FC champ, leaves with an 8-0 record with his sixth career finish.

Meanwhile, Brooks moves to 13-2 after being finished for the first time in his career.
