How hard does Conor McGregor really punch?

Conor McGregor's sparring partner has fired a warning shot at undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather.

The fierce UFC champ will take on Money Man Mayweather on August 26 - dubbed the most expensive fight in boxing history.

And ahead of their Las Vegas showdown, Irishman McGregor has been trading blows with ex-boxer Paulie Malignaggi in preparation for the biggest payday of his career.

Speaking on the Big Brown Breakdown, Malignaggi admits that Mayweather will 'feel it' if McGregor lands a punch.

He said: "Do you want to know if he hits hard? Yeah, I mean, he's not a weak puncher. I'll say that.

"People are dying for me to say, 'Oh he hits hard!' Oh, his big left hand.' Listen, if Conor hits you, you're going to feel it. He's a grown man.

"I'd say he's an above average puncher. If he lands a shot with 10 oz gloves, it will probably get your attention. Is it 'Oh my God power'? No, 'Oh my God power' is very rare."

"I've sparred thousands of rounds in my life, I've sparred hundreds of people in my life ... the amount people that I sparred that had 'Oh my God power is probably only a handful.

"More than anything he's accurate and I think that's what plays into the success he has with his punches. Nothing was like overwhelmingly powerful. I mean, he's got power. He's more accurate I'd say than anything."

Meanwhile McGregor has been forced to hit back after Mike Tyson claimed he will get 'killed' against Mayweather.

But McGregor has replied with a cheeky dig at Iron Mike saying: "That's nice Mike. But you're looking at the new Don King here, son. Money is mine."

CONOR'S TAKE ON THE KARATE KID

Conor McGregor has been pictured taking an unusual stance during his boxing training as he gears up to face Floyd Mayweather.

The UFC star seems to be adopting a stance ready to go into a 'crane kick' made famous in the 1984 movie The Karate Kid.

With he's knee in the air, McGregor resembled Ralph Macchio's character Daniel Larusso during his sparring session.

McGregor accompanied the image with the caption: "Re-writing prize-fighting."

The Irishman steps into the squared-circle for his first professional fight against undefeated Mayweather in Las Vegas on August 26.

McGregor and Mayweather wrapped up their media tour after verbally sparring over the three dates.
