The Kiwi women were the best of the New Zealand performers at yesterday's Ironman Australia at Port Macquarie.
Michelle Bremer finished second with Melanie Burke fourth.
A scorching cycle stage saw Douglas Allan finish fifth in the men's race with Simon Cochrane sixth.
Meanwhile, at Ironman Bussellton 70.3 in Western
Australia, Kiwi Callum Millward finished third while Christchurch's Mike Phillips was sixth.
Cambridge's Leah Lassche was second in the women's event.
