Tennis: Wawrinka chasing third grand slam title

Stan Wawrinka believes he's ready to stop Novak Djokovic's charge to a 13th Grand Slam singles title in the US Open final this morning.

Wawrinka is chasing his first US Open title with Djokovic hunting his third.

Having only beaten Djokovic in four of their 23 meetings Wawrinka says he's as prepared as he can be.

He says the secret is simple and he has to play his best tennis because Djokovic is an amazing fighter and the number one player.

Play is set to begin at 8am.
