Tennis: Parnell West End clash

The Auckland men's Caro Bowl tennis final will be played tonight between Parnell and defending champions West End at Parnell.

Mark Nielsen will lead West End followed by former South African pro Gerrit Steenkamp and former Davis Cup players Mark Thompson and Teo Susnjak.

Nielsen will play Davis Cup team-mate Adam Thompson in the top singles. Thompson has an international line-up behind him, with Bernie Parun, a German player with a Kiwi background, at two, followed by former Kiwi international Matt Prentice, Czech player Pavel Solil at four and Steve Downs as reserve.
