Tennis: Kuerten wins Heineken Open

Fourth seed Gustavo Kuerten has beaten Dominik Hrbaty in today's Heineken Open final.

The Brazilian beat the former Auckland champion 6-3, 7-5.

Kuerten yesterday overcame Argentina's Guillermo Coria and Mariano Zabaleta for his spot in today's final.

Hrbaty progressed to his first final since he won the title here in 2001 with victories over David Ferrer and Felix Mantilla.
